10 ply tire problems

Default 10 ply tire problems

i have put a set of 10 ply bfg's on my truck and it has went all to pieces it has picked up a real bad sway or swim at highway speeds if you slightly turn the wheel has anyone ever had this problem or has anyone ever heard of this

I had to get rid of the BFGs I had on the 1st Gen after they were only about half worn down due to similar issues. Handled horribly, wouldn't stay balanced, yada, yada. I think they have some serious quality control issues with those tires.

had BFG AT's on my 95 chevy gasser. Great tire till they got to half tread. Then I started having the same problems.

My tires did it when they were new. Give the sidewalls time to stiffen up.

Never had a problem out of my BFG's got 80 thousand out of them.

BFG's are junk and are the single largest source of DW on these trucks.

Get rid of them and get a decent tire that will hold the weight, balance, etc.
