Best advice I can give is do NOT buy from Dodge dealer- My local dealer wanted $86 (and had to wait 3 days):td:- I found a Cummins Dealer 14 miles further down the road and they carried it in stock for $24.07:tu:. I did 4 lines for the cost of 1. We will see how well the new design holds up!

my #4 fuel supply line just went out

So I have a fuel leak. It's more of a fuel spray. It looks like it's coming from the #4 fuel supply line. Thanks to this Thread I am pretty confident I know what to order and fix. My question is there any tips I should be using when changing out the line? Do I need to do any bleeding of the lines since I'll be exposing it to air? I am a newbie to the 5.9 but am pretty mechanically inclined. Any advice/tips/tricks is greatly appreciated.

Nothing too special- truck off obviously and don't crank it with the line removed. Just start threading the nuts on by hand to make sure you aren't cross threading and you'll be good to go. I "snugged" mine down and did not torque them to spec. As long as you don't crank down on it you'll be good!

Injector supply spinning

Has anyone had the injector supply line turn in the head when trying to loosen the line?
