How many of you guys have a short shifter on your 6spd (or 5spd) trucks? My truck has the 4.10 rear end and it gets old throwing the shifter around so much.

BD makes a pretty good looking kit.

What do yall think about the short shifter kits? also, if you have one, can you post some pics up for me?

Let me know your positives and negatives about them!

Short shifter kits, eh? I had one in my truck when they first came out. It was great...then it broke. I replaced it with an "updated" version...broke it too. Now she's back to stock-the stock stuff has held up for 133,000 miles, so I don't think I'll change it again.

 

haha good deal man..that is what I wanted to hear...the one in my truck has held up for 310,000 miles so maybe its not time to change it!
