By the way the tanks back in, now it time to run lines to the pump and the engine and run electric, not to bad of a job, but if the tank wasn't out already, I would have pulled the bed after placing the pump bracket on, so I'll know I had clearance

Me too, I can't even afford a wallet, I haven't checked lately but when they offered me a deal on one, even with my break in price they wanted 75 bucks, they were selling them for 125.00, I hate to see what boots would be.

I have truck again, primed it and it fired up after a few turns, I'll have no problem doing to next one in three hours, but then I wouldn't have to read this time and I wouldn't be worried about removing parts I can keep to put it to the dealer.

I called Dodge again today and told them I'm not happy with them turning down my warranty, the filter on the lift pump did it's job and stopped partials from getting to the pump, they said to bad we not covering anything, I said you know this is going to cost you sells, to many people are getting screwed, but they don't seem to care and said there noting you cando to us, I said we shall see.

So i just have some other opinions and see if I can get some one to write me a statement I can take to small claims court, as well well as having the pump in hand, so I can show the inside of the filter is clean as the pump.

Main thing is I'm running and it wasn't that hard to do even by myself, putting the tank back up wasn't a hard as it was when I did my Dakota.

So don't even go to a dealer when the lift pump goes and call Mighty Diesel for a great deal on an Air Dog and then you be ready to pump it up on the power, that's going to be next, since the warranty is not even good for toilet paper, I have to see what Tony can get a programmer for when I get the money to spare.

 

See I got the ***** to ride bulls all day long, but when it came to gators I think I'd keep my butt in the truck. Haha atleast you do something you love that most people wouldnt be able to bring them selves to do. It's my understanding that on my '03, I won't need a draw straw, so long as I haven't had the lift-pump relocated to the tank. Is that correct?

 

I say go ahead and do it, the stock line is so little you won't get full flow, but yes on your the transfer pump is on the engine too, Air Dog uses half inch lines at the way to the CP-3, I guess that would be V-44 for you.

It doesn't take but a half hour, the easiest is to lift the bed, then you can get to everything with crawling under the truck, plus you don't have to empty the tank, wait, second thought, you might not be able to do one as you won't have a opening to get into, since the pump isn't there and you want to get inside to hold something to catch the pieces falling while drilling the 1 1/8 hole.

Maybe some who's done a 03 will jump in and give us the rest of the story

My understanding is, if you get the 100gph airdog you won't need to do a draw straw. It comes with connectors to "plug" into your factory lines. The 150 comes with a draw straw and all 1/2" line. This is how airdog's came(about a year ago) when I helped a friend change out his factory L.P. for an airdog 150 on his 04.5 with the factory L.P. mounted on the back side of the filter bowl towards the firewall.
