Injector buzzing
I have a stock Dodge 2004.5 5.9 HO CTD
I had the hood up changing filters yesterday and noticed a distinct z z z z t... z z z z t sound.
When I place my hand on the injector line #4 I felt a very noticable vibration each time it fires.
The truck runs great and I am pulling consistent 24mpg on the freeway.
Whats going on?

Thank you. I am a good gas engine mechanic but this is my first diesel. Not sure where to start looking. Is there a name for this symptom?
Since it is only on one injector line I presume it is a sticky or otherwise faulty injector. I see no black smoke and haven't noticed any missing.
The injector pump had a drip and the dealer replaced it about 20K ago.

sounds like (if there is) a clamping diode or something of the sort is worn and is allowing the solenoid to actually chatter... since all it is is a big thing of metal windings around an iron core it is possible for it to kinda act like a gassers coil and induce some current (not equivelent to a coil tho) but; it could be chattering from that. i'm sure if you hooked it up to an occiliscope it'd be constantly peaking (from opening and closing) wheter or not these trucks had a problem with induced voltage or RFI in the injector control wires or not... idk. i'm not even sure if this is what's causing the buzzing but after all it is electrical and just about anything is possible
