Default Gauges?

I need gauges. I want to get autometers but im not sure? Any suggestions? I want them to be green colored. I am also wondering what kind of gauges I should get, by that I mean mechanical or electrical? I would think the electrical for the 24v would be the right choice but why spend more money if I dont have to. Can I run a combination of both and still get the same performance? Also, I know I need a pyrometer, boost, rail pressure, and fuel pressure but do I really need a tranny temp gauge because I have a standard. If I need 5 gauges I will run a pillar and a two gauge pod on the steering column. Any suggestions on where I could maybe put the other 2 gauges besides the column that would look good and not require a lot of looking around the cab at different gauges?

The autometers are good, but the Isspros are nice as well and they have the green glow. Either way those are the two I perfer...

As for running elecrical and mechanical gauges together, you can it doesn't make a difference in how each one performs, but the only mechanical gauge you'll probably have is the boost unless you feel the need to drop the $$$ on an elecrical boost.

Running a tranny temp gauge couldn't hurt, it'll just make you a more informed driver. I don't think you would need it since you don't have all the moving components that an automatic has...

As for more mounting solutions, you can do an overhead that sits underneath the overhead console, a dash mount, or for the 03-05s they have a 3 gauge pod that goes under the AC panel on the dashface.

I will have to look into it. I am kind of torn on what to do.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Should I invest the money in full sweep electric gauges?

Full sweep in my opinion is better looking than the 180 degree gauges but both work the same performance wise but the full sweep give you a little more info than the 180 gauges do. I think electrical gauges would be the better bang for your buck but for a boost go mechanical.

i got glowshift guages and they r $200 for a kit, and they work just as good as any other guages, so y pay more if they do the same and have 7 different colors.
