Has anyone purchased an extended warrenty for there cummins? if so, who did you go through for it and are any of the companys worth it and aren't scams? asking for feed back? thanks

 

i had gotten the one from dodge. it coast more but it was bumper to bumper and no cash out of my pocket when i needed something done. it payed for it self 3 times over. between the 4 ball joints, 2 bearing packs and 2 sets of injectors, fuel pump ,a/c stuff, . they lost money on me.

 

When did you buy year or how many miles where on it when you got the extended warrenty? sounds great but i'm not able to get that warrenty because i bought mine with 88000 mile and they will not offer it. i still have the 100000 on the power train but that want be for long. thanks for the info though. i got it at about 40k . they told me you have some time and miles after the 36 ran out but i don't remember how long or how many miles they said. it was just over $1200 witch is not cheep but some times well worth it. it was on my 04.5 and it was around mid 05 when i got it. it was for 4 years 100k bumper to bumper no cash out of my pocket and a rental when ever i was in for service.
