How or where do I go to find my out my gear ratio 3:73 or 4:10??

might be on the sticker in the glove box. If not it should be on the rear diff cover stamped on the edge. If that fails, give the dealer your vin and they can look it up.

i heard you could either get 3:73 or 4:10 I was hoping 4:10

your correct but the cummins have enough torque that the 3.37s are worth the better mileage down the highway IMO

I agree.....I have the 4.10's and sure, they're nice for pulling but it comes at a price......they suck for highway driving. I won't even do the speed limit here in Utah cause my engine is turning 2400RPM and that's too high for me. Besides, dropping 10mph nets me 2-3 MPG and on long trips that's more important than what time I roll into my destination.

yeah thats the crazy things about the lower gear ratios is how much of a difference 10mph makes. With the higher gears its a little more forgiving to drive the speed limit or over.

With the cummins, peak torque is somewhere around 1800 rpm. If your turning over 22 your mileage is toast.

yea you all make valid points however still wish I had 4:10s hahaha grass is always greener on the otherside
