Default fluids (maintenance)

we should get a sticky for the the

fluid specs for the CR trucks

motor oil, diff oils, tranny fluid ect.
and the capacities of each

then get the synthetic equivelants.

if we have it some where let me know
as I am going to look and see what my owner manual says

The CR trucks require synthetic gear oil in the diffs, 80w90 if I recall, ATF in the tranfer case, auto trans and 6spd manuals, and 15w40 on the motor oil.

The engine holds 3 gallons of oil, the transfer case 2.5 quarts, 6spd manual 6quarts, front diff 3.5 quarts, rear diff 4.25 quarts.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

The best fuel filters for these trucks are the Baldwin hands down! The Baldwin has the best filtering rate, 5 microns where the other filters are 7-9 microns.
