Debadging ?

I am in the process of debadging my 04.5 I started on the tailgate since it already looks like crap since I put a big honkin dent in it.. I worked on it for about 2 hours and only got the SLT 4x4 heavy duty and the D off... I have read where it took guys a half hour to do the whole truck..... How do they do it so fast.. I tried PB blaster, JD all purpose lube and goo gone... Goo gone worked the best of the 3 but it is taking FOREVER.. I was also using a heat gun... I want to also do the door molding but dam those are going to take even longer... What works the best for getting the double sided tape off.. I am going to try fishing line to get the other emblems off since I tried floss and a piece of very small wire and ended up just heating them up and prying them off with a plastic screwdriver.. Someone please tell me how to get it done faster.. I don't want it to be a whole day project.... Thanks

i did my whole truck in 30 mins. i used a pin stripe wheel fishing line and a heat gun.

and for the trim moldings i used my hands, hurt my fingers so bad but its only pain :ouch:

I wanted to do my door moldings to but did not know if it was just held on with the double sided tape or if it had tape and clips holding it on. Did not want to take it off and then have holes down the side of the truck. I also am in the same boat took off 4x4 and heavy duty and took a couple hours

you can use a hair dryer, it don get too hot, just hot enough though to heat up the glue, and eat through it with fishing line. some people use goo gone, i personally never used it

Goo gone doesn't work very fast... What is a pin stripe wheel? And where do I get one... My hands are hurting from scrubbing so hard

WD-40 or some Goo-Gone also works very well.
