guy came to me today and he handed me a few codes he said it was pullin. 2146,2122,2121,2127 not for sure if thats all i didnt pull the codes. he said he took it to dodge dealer for somethin??? and it cameback idled way up and runnin on 3 cylinders. said it has to be sprayed with ether to start. except when he changes the fuel filter is will start up twice then its back to the ether????

 

Sounds like it's time for a new lift pump.

It also could be injectors had a guy south of me who's 03 did the same it would only start on ether, he wound up replacing all 6 with F 1's and now it runs great.

 

injectors or maybe just the injector tube nuts need to be retorqued 37ft# if I remember right check first that just in my head it ain't perfect

 

that is pedal position sensor 1 low

could be many things, low fuel pressures, clogged filter, connection tube loose, loosing an injector, damaged cp3 injection pump.

 

its an ether baby now may have blown ur top rings off ur pistons

 

All of those codes relate to a wiring problem of some sort, the TPS shows up a couple of times and the injector harness shows up a couple of times.

Check all of your wiring, especially around the injector harness and the Throttle Position Sensor, which I think is by the foot pedal. Look for obvious stuff, like unplugged wires, wires pulled out of connectors, broken wires, etc. Anything that looks wrong.

Haha, heres more advice from someone who knows-- lay off the ether, and don't go crazy throwing parts at it until you know what is wrong with it.

i dont know what has been done to it. im a motorcycle mechanic and a customer pulled up to my shop with this truck idle'n at like 1600. i fixed his motorcycle then he asked if i could fix his truck. of course my big mouth said yea bring it back one day next week and ill fix what i can. stupid stupid stupid!!!! but i gotta make money

 

this thing aint stuck on the 3 cyl warmup deal is it?
