My buddy has an 07 mega cab. He was checking a job in the dark when his spotlight went dead, he took it to the truck and plugged it in to charge and forgot to turn the switch off.

Does he start to look for a seat or a "patch kit" - any ideas on what a used seat costs?

 

i would say get a seat cover , probably should look for a new seat...but that is hilarious and he is also lucky his truck didnt catch on fire and burn down

 

looked like a smoke bomb went off in the truck - was hard not to laugh at him, so i did!

That can be fixed, try a dealership. They have people come by to fix and repair seats in used vehicles. They may know an upholstery shop that will help you out too.

 

Ebay man, they sell those exact seats on there every day. I think they sell the whole set though. You might be able to contact the seller though and get just the burnt seat. Here is one seller that I have saved, never done business with them but they have exactly what he is looking for.
