Default Which way right or left?

I have been thinking of upgrading my trans. Would it be better to do a complete tranny upgrade or just go with a torque converter/valve body.I am currently running afe stage 2 intake,Afe blade runner intake, Muffler delete, and a smarty jr on the lowest setting.I was told that i could do the torque converter / valvebody setup and turn up the smarty jr and do a stack.A airdog will be put on either way i go.I do not drag or pull my truck.

It all depends on your ultimate HP goals... and we all know how that goes. Having said this I would recommend a full tranny build; do it once and do it right. However, if you don't intend to add more power beyond the Jr, you can easily get away with a converter/valve body.

Doing a VB and TC setup will make a big difference. But it also depend on the current condition of your transmission.

If you plan on keeping the truck or making alot or even moderate HP ,then go through it now. How many miles on it now ? It is gonna be cheaper to do it once right as opposed to a lil bit now and then alot more later because you get bitten by the HP bug.

I have 30 thousand was going to do a stack/mp8 and a airdog and that would be it.Also i was told that i could run it with both turned up?I have looked at suncoast but 7thousand for there full billet tranny is quite a bite. And that there full billet has more clutches than there standard trans they offer. Is there any other companies that i should look into other than ats i have heard things good and bad.
