Default Cummins tires hopping!!! Need help!!!

Ok I got a problem with my cummins when you hit a rough spot on the road doin about 70. The pickup starts hopping and itbounce around so bad that it throws cups out of the cup holder it does it repeatedly in certain spots. However when you slow down to about 45 it stops. Any ideas or input ok what to do to fix it? I've lowered tire pressure but have yet to fond a solution

traction bars will be the best cure for that.

Is it for sure the rear end bouncing or is it the front end as in Death Wobble. You didn't say what end is creating the problem.

That sound like death wobble. I am not sure of the best way to fix it, some use an adjustable trac bar. Find out what end it is coming from and report back.

If it turns out to be death wobble, there is a TSB out on it, and the dealer should install the upgraded components for you.

Edit: Your Sig shows Cummins but your profile shows Chevy... Just an FYI...

Not true, Sir.

The TSB I speak of refers directly to the 3rd Gens...

The 07.5 with the 6.7L and upgraded steering haven't been having issues...

Oh they still get death wobble alright... It just happens a lot slower. But if the front end gets loose it will happen just as bad as a 2nd gen. That sure is what it sounds like to me. At 70 mph he shouldn't be getting axle wrap.
