i have an o4 1/2 w/ a smarty box i run on 5. max boost i have ever seen is 35 and that is a spike. it will settle back to 30-32 usually. my 24v buds are makeing 40-45 all day. is the cr turbo wastegated and if so how do you fool it? stock turbo btw

 

I'm seeing 38 with only intake, exhaust, and Quadzilla Max Mileage. The QMM has a built in boost fooler which I think basically just makes the wastegate hold out longer before it dumps.

 

I have the edge juice with attitude along with intake and just straight pipe, i have seen 38-40 boost psi before, and i have the backdown turned on so if it hits 38 it starts backing it down and it has backed down as much at 45%...

 

maybe having a six speed HO has something to do with it

 

Sorry, I may have spoken out of turn here, my truck's an 06. I think the stock 06 got a little more boost than the earlier models?

 

all you need to do is download the SO6 software on your smarty (Mads Electronics - Smarty - CaTCHER - Dodge Tuning - Home) and turn your wastegate off (its an option on your smarty). before i only had 32psi but with it off i get 45psi

 

call me nancy but... i do not know about turning the waste gate off! i cannot believe there is not a "tuneable" setting insted of an on/off. my bud suggested using a boost elbow andthem putting a manual valve on it where you could set it say for 42 or so.
