Just wanted to share, a customer just came into the shop with an 04 2wd CTD and it only has 8683 MILES!!!! yes that is right. TOTALLY looks like it came off the show room floor!

i seen an 06 duramax that was fully loaded... only had 4000 miles on it... it looked like it just came out of the factory... an old guy bought it brand new and pulled his camper to the lake and back during the summer... otherwise it sat in a heated shop all year....

What'd they want done to it?
I've seen quite a few beautiful trucks for sale very recently with the economic down turn. Looks like a lot of people started selling off all their capital to avoid a s***storm.

On Ebay, I saw a '91 Chev 454SS 1500, only 1800mi on it or so, it was mint. Pretty much never driven, up on blocks and covered, guy wanted more than $19,000 for it... I don't think it ever sold on eBay. It was a cool truck, but not that cool, and not that old yet. Those 454SS' weren't even that powerful. Modern small blocks can tromp those old TBI's no sweat...anyways...

I saw a few old (<1986) GM half tons for sale too in awesome shape all with low miles completely original. Most of them were only selling for ~$8000...if I had the money, I would have bought at least one of them. I'd love to start a collection. Sigh.... I stopped reading Autotrader magazine several years ago because it just made me sad at all these beautiful old trucks that were for sale that I'd love to restore but just don't have the time and money for.

Dude just came into the shop for an oil change. I was like SELL IT TO ME NOW!!! He said hell no in a British accent! LOL He was cool ol guy. Retired F-111 jet engine mechanic and great to talk to. Just the thing had NO scratches ANYWHERE, interior was so cherry it was not funny. Leather, the dash was totally mint and it looked just like it was detailed inside and out. The engine compartment was clean enough to eat off of.

Well, I only have a few more payments till its paid for. Once that happens, I will be able to come up with the $$ for my deductible to have all my dings fixed, and it will be a brand new truck
