Default 2006 fuel pressure and gauge

Hello all, I am at wits end with this fuel pressure and looking for any advice. Traded in my 99 for an 06 Mega cab 6 speed. I had the dealership install a 3 gauge set-up from Autometer(phantom). Now on the third fuel pressure gauge/sender. It would be around 12 psi, slowly fall, start jumping all over the place and then stick at a number within 50 miles. This time they put a fuel pressure isolator on it before the sender. It is a rather large bulb looking apparatus. Now my gauge always reads 2-3 psi but hasn't done anything crazy. At WOT, it will move a little down but not much else, never going to zero. I'm pretty sure I'm not running 2-3 psi, and if I were, it should bottom out under WOT immediately I'd think. Truck has 40,xxx on it. This will be my fourth trip to the dealership, I'm looking for anything to take with me, thanks for any advice!

Mechanical Fuel Pressure Gauges are a PITA , I had a few and went threw a bunch of isolaters both cylinder and pancake style , your going to fight it until you go with an electronic gauge/sender .

That's the scary part, this is an electric gauge/sender. The isolator comes first then to an electric sender. And before it was supposedly just ruining the electric senders. Oh what fun

you dont use an isolator with an electronic gauge , all you need is a snubber before the sender thats it

Go with a mechanical guage and snubber or needle valve - you wont have any problems then.

This surprises me as I have had the opposite experiences.
I still use the same mechanical LF blower boost gauge for a fuel pressure gauge in three CDTs 12v/24v and its now in my CR (until I get time to put my performax ones in)
Never used an isolator, just a small needle valve to curb the heavy pulses from the IPs

We had a few Autometer Electronic FP gauges out in the field fail due to the sending units going out. Autometer warrantied all of them, but "Only" after my customers provided proof of purchasing a snubber to place in-line before sending unit. So far, no more failures and I always recommend a snubber, right DM
