Default Boost Codes

can someone help me? I get underboost codes several times a week... And it goes into limp mode. And yesterday I got p0237 something about boost sensor a low, or something like that. Any ideas? These codes have been constant since I got this turbo. The last person I talked to at BD told me to adjust the wastgate and that will fix the underboost code. That sound right to y'all??? Any info ?

Underboost?? ive never heard of a underboost code only overboost, maybe im just sheltered. You can try to adjust the wastegate see if it works cant hurt nothin just dont go over like 40-45 psi with your stock head bolts

Maybe the bypass they sent to plug into the waste gate connector is faulty.

all I know is it gets old quick. Having to pull over and clear the codes. Guess I'll take the turbo off again and crank on the wAste gate rod a few times. And I'm only getting 30#'s max. Never even seen 40#'s like my stocker.

Remove the plug that plugs into the waste gate connector, or better yet, I can do it on mine being it is similar and see what comes up. Hold tight!!!

OK, ran around w/ out it plugged in and it never went into limp mode, but I got a P0239 Turbocharger Boost Sensor B Malfunction code. So that's not it. Now, what all have you had done to it? You had it leaked tested, and it passed. You change the MAP/IAT sensor, try it w/ out the Bully Dog?

tried without Bullydog. Still got it. I gotba boot that goes on the turbo inlet and found 3 leaks then but got em fixed. Gonna take the turbo off Wednesday to adjust the wastegate. So is there a chance the map or iat sensors need cleaned or ever get cleaned and could cause this?

It's worth a shot to see what happens when you clean the MAP sensor. Use mass airflow sensor cleaner.

Boost Sensor A Low-Very well could be a faulty MAP sensor. Cause that's what signals the electronic waste gate to open, I think. IDK, but it makes sense.

That's the only reason I can think of. I drove 3 blocks with a blown boot and it never set the CEL w/ an under boost code or went into limp mode. Only two connectors between the turbo and intake are the waste gate and MAP sensor, that I know of. Keep us posted!!!
