---AutoMerged DoublePost---

I looked through a service manual and they're going to have to use a scan tool to measure the voltage. I did see one test where they use a voltmeter to check it. W/ the ignition off, disconnect the connector, then turn the ignition on. With the release tab up, probe the left terminal. If it's between 4.5-5.2 volts, that's good, and most likely the MAP sensor is bad. But the will run a few more tests to confirm.

well I got the two codes agan yesterday morning when leaving work. It seems to mostly do it in the mornings. Been alot more often the past few days. The past couple if weeks I haven't got any codes then this week is killing me. I've tried it without Bullydog and still get em, but I took it off and then wiped off the iat sensor and the map sensor. They were kinda dirty but I guess we will see when i leave in the morning. And still doing the turbo tomorrow so i'll let uknow about it.

ok so I got the turbo off again to adjust the wastegate but the rod that you twist to adjust it with is already a short as it will go; and still only getting 30#'s. Im just not sure anymore. im gonna give BD another call tomorrow and talk with them again. I did notice that the plate that the wastegate is attached to was missing a bolt that held the plate to the turbo itself. But while putting pessure on the turbo the wastegate was still working but we got another bolt anyways. ant then after we got the turbo back on, I checked the tubes for leakes and found 2. Got them fixed also.

I have one question of why turbo companies make the elbow coming off the turbo 2 pieces; it is a huge target for boost leakes. And with this turbo they didnt cut back a piece of metal right in the curve of the elbow and my clamp that holds the elbow tight on there has a bent spot on it. So I took the grinder to it and cut it back like it should have been.

I would just slap back on my stocker to see if it will still hit 40#'s but BD neglected to tell me that I needed a spacer for this turbo so we had to rig up the exhaust and I am not about to try to move it back forward the 1"-2" that it would have to be moved to work.

Wow sorry about this. Any more thoughts or suggestions?

Get the low boost code issue fixed? You mentioned something about getting the MAP replaced.

I haven't got any codes yet... Haven't been able to get in touch with my uncle at the dealer yet. But as long as the codes stay away I'll hold off on the map replacement.
