Default No power rough idle

Today i removed exhaust stack took my truck down to the gas station with just a straight pipe about 4 feet long off the turbo. Lost power and started idling rough. Occasionally it will run normal for a second or two then right back to no power. I can push the pedal to the floor and no response. Im at a loss. It ran fine today then after i removed the stack all hell broke loose. Now its useless... Cant drive it to work like this... Any help or ideas?

The only change i made to the truck was removomg the stack from just in front of the rear. Axle and the s pipe going through the bed. After this i drove tje truck. 1/4 mile and everything is crap now.

Why would removing a section of exhaust pipe cause all the problems.?
It is 5 inch pipe from turbo back no catalytic converter or muffler. Is there a sensor or ground i am missing somewhere?
