Default FAN CLUTCH P043

Running a '03 Dodge Ram 3500 5.9, fan clutch went out. When it happened it destroyed both plugs. I had to hard wire a new fan. It is still showing code T0483. Why? Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Make sure you got the wires right on connections, then, check the continuity on the wires back to the ECU. If they are good it shorted the ECU portion of the fan controller, if not you have a bad wire or pin on the ECU connector. When I pulled the connector on mine the pin stayed in the connector, not good for circuit continuity.
