Alright so here is the deal. I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 with the 5.9 cummins. 100hp injectors s&m cold air intake, 62mm turbo, 5in straight pipe, efi live tuning. Truck is fast but recently I ripped the transfer case in half. Is it possible to pull a transfer case from an 07 6.7 cummins 6speed manual and use that transfer case in my 06. I keep reading that spline might be different does anyone have any insight?

 

Different model transmissions in those trucks, personally I would stick with the 48re transfer case and get a transfer case support so it doesn't happen again. If your enjoying the truck might as well as fix it right!
