Default 2006 cummins front end

Im sure this has been posted before on this forum but I have an 06 common rail 4x4 with 130k miles and it's starting to get shakey when you go over 60 mph. As far as I know the front end is still all factory, and I know the ball joints are shot. But the when it shakes I can really feel it in the pedal and the seat so I'm thinking that would be the driveshaft u-joints? Does that sound right?

Sounds like that could be it. I would remove the front shaft if you don't need 4x4 and drive it to see if it goes away. Pretty easy to do, mark the shaft and where it connects to axle so you can line it up putting it back in. 4 Torx on front axle then I believe just 4 bolts on other end. If you need a shop near Austin/SA there's one that did mine way cheaper than quoted elsewhere. Swapping out those ball joints is a PITA
