Default Voltage drop?

In the mornings when I start my truck, I let it warm up for a few minutes. When it's idling I notice my battery gauge drop for a few seconds and then it comes back up. The lights do dim, fan blower motor slows down, and the engine idles down a bit. This only happens for a few seconds at a time. Is it the intake heater cycling? The batteries are fairly new, alternator seems to be charging fine. I'm just curious as to if anyone else has expierienced this. Thanks
