Default New to Cummin and now I have a problem

Ok so I bought this truck on Friday. When I test drove it and felt a little under powered and upon inspection the bolt on the turbo flange were loose so I had the dealership tighten them. Test drove it again and problem was solved. yesterday after driving around for about 2 hours I noticed that the truck seemed to not have any power. 1st gear seems very sluggish, 2nd gear no power at all, 3rd gear I was able to get a little power and I could finally tell the turbo was making some boost and same with 4th gear. Any ideas of how I can diagnose this without buying a bunch of gauges or diagnostic tools. I literally just got out of a 6 month bad relationship with a 2005 F250 so money is tight.

Tough to say with no gauges to tell you what's going on-you can cycle the key 3 times to have codes pop on the odometer- any codes? Any smoke while driving or at startup? If you bought it from a dealer I would let them know asap so they may be willing to work with you on repairs if needed! Have you checked to make sure the turbo mount bolts haven't backed out again?

No codes, no smoke. I bought it from a used car dealership but they do not have an on-site diesel tech

OK so here's were we are at. I replaced the fuel filters, cleaned the MAF sensor, rechecked the turbo flange bolts, cleaned the air filter, and replaced the MAP sensor as the other one if it wasn't bad was gong o be based on the corrosion on it. Also checked to see if the turbo was spinning freely and it did not have any shaft play. The truck s throwing he following codes P1751, P1753, ad P0234. The symptoms are low power in 1st, hardly any power (feel like no boost at all) in 2nd, 3rd on up does seem to be creating boost but not much.

Took it to my buddy at the dealership and had him scan it. He confirmed TTVA needed to be replaced. Bought the part and put it on but still had the same problem and codes. Tried clearing the codes myself with my scanner and it wouldn't so I took it to my buddies shop and had him do it. Now it runs like a tank. All is right with the world.
