Well you went from cp3 problems to what sounds like injectors are crapped out now. On a common rail what you can do is take the valve cover off and take a wire off injector 1 and see if it sounds worse, if it gets worse that injector is good and repeat until when you remove the wires from an injector the sound does not get worse and that will be your injector(s) that are stuck open. Maybe spray all your connectors (cp3 and injector plugs) with an electric cleaner first.

And a weak cp3 can definitely help do a number on your injectors if more than one are bad I'd say you need to replace them all because they will all be close to failure after receiving low pressure for awhile.

Well after capping off lines and figuring out the issue, injector #4 was stuck open and just dumping fuel. Neighbors thought I was on mosquito patrol for the day/night 😂😂😂😂😂

I had 2 injectors **** out on me at the exact same time while loading a Mustang on a trailer one time, it just instantly started smoking so much I figured a seal my my turbo blew and was just dumping oil into my exhaust. Then I got up front front and it was ticking and banging like a 7.3 .
