Default Fun times with some kind of turbo issue

So, airdog on, injectors in back to stock tune and the stock turbo is doing this funny little pulse thing from10-13 psi when throttle is held consistent, IE cruise. I think it's time fer a new turbo, but just wanted ideas. Frp is fine not fluctuating, boost stays fine no fluctuation. As soon as I move out of that range it's a OK. Any ideas

you could possibly have a small boost leak. check the turbo and make sure it spins freely and doesnt any in and out play. 10-13 psi is rather high if you are just rolling down the freeway. are you towing?

Turbo is OK, worn for the mileage on it but not excessive play. Not towing just set the cruise, factory program so no timing. Not sure on the leaks yet, I've siliconed the intake horn and GH so down to boots now. If I get this new turbo on this weekend and its still doing it I will really have a problem

Are you sure it's turbo related and not your TC slipping? My truck would shudder/feel like not getting fuel occasionally from 40-60mph. Usually just on slight inclines/accelerating though- if boost is reading fine and sounds consistent (not fading out then coming back) then there may be something else going on

Well figured it all out. Bad tuning with the edge and just turbo surging. The smarty tuning is nice and smooth. Will be going to HP tuning soon as well. Can't slip a TC in a 6spd

I was reading through this and was wondering who your going to have write your tune? I'm going to make the switch too. do you plan on going to the setup where you need the box ad upload tunes with a computer or a single tune flash to the ecm? I wanna know how it works out.
