Super b special vs dps 64/71/12

Just getting opinions on which one to buy, I can get the dps for 400 dollars cheaper but the BD super b special turbo might be worth the extra money. If anyone can weigh in and give pros and cons on both turbos it would be appreciated.

I ended up ordering a borg warner Sx-e 64.5/68/14 it's a little on the laggy side I think the 63/68/14 would have been perfect but if your looking to upgrade hit me up and I'll send you towards a guy I really like to buy from and he has great prices

i had a 63/65 for a month before i took it off. i hated the turbo lag. make sure you get good tuning, cause that will make a difference in the turbo lag.

I think I would have loved a 63/65

Im glad now I was talked out of the 64.5/71 though and I'm upgrading to HP tuners soon.

How bad was the lag on the 63/65? I'm looking at a 63/68 too? I should have the fuel to keep it lit. Edge cs is OK, may go smarty. Had a stainless diesel 63/68/14 recommended. Said it would support 850hp?

63/68/14 won't get you to 800hp will get you close to 700 at the flywheel probably and maybe more if you get good custom tuning and have the injectors and injection pump to support it

With my 64.5/68 the biggest difference is egt's. With the hottest tune I can write I peg the speedo right about the time it's getting close to 1400 degrees. With a good street tune they'll never get above 1200 and I can still run with my c5 corvette. I'm still running a stock cp3 that I personally think is a little weak and just 60hp injectors and it'll lite right about 1600rpm and by the time I hit 1750-1800 I'm over 40psi seems a little laggy but it holds power all the way to 3400rpm so there's still alot to use. With small injectors like mine and 's stock cp3 I would recommend the the 63/68 just for 's little better spool up but egt's would still drop tremendously. I plan on going to a bigger cp3 in the near future and hope it can keep my rail pressure high enough to get this to spool a little faster and make a little more boost on the top end because it's not hard to drain the rail right now.

What about the special over the stock in twins?
