Ok guys thanks for all the advice! Luckily for me (sarcasm) I'm back in Japan now so I won't be driving it for quite a while and I have lots of time to start saving for a new tranny! I miss driving already though...

I don't blame you, I missed driving mine when it was in the shop being fixed a few times, can't imagine being overseas and not being able to drive it
