I purchased a 05 cummins back in July I beleive. I didn't know it but the injectors were bad. I had them replaced and the truck has ran perfect until 3 days ago. It was 60 degrees outside. My truck had set all day in the parking lot while I worked. I got in it turned the key on waited til the light and pump kicked off like I always do and it started right up. But after about 10 second of idling it started cutting out really bad and blowing tons of white smoke. After it warms up it quits and runs fine. Or if I get in it and Rev it up and hold the rpms higher it will run fine. It has done this every time I start it now. I'm taking it to the shop tomorrow that out the injectors in and have then check it out. Any ideas what I could be dealing with?

I changed the fuel filter 1500 miles ago. Truck is bone stock except for straight pipe. And it throws no codes

 

did you get new or remanned injectors? what kinda shop replaced them?

 

Got a bad injector careful will melt a piston!
