Default Help New Rebuild Not Cranking

Had engine rebuilt guy put it in but never finished putting the b/s small stuff together so 8 mo.of being there i go get it n take to another shop .This guy puts it together and wr put on new inj pump, fuel pressure module, and got it to not pull any code.He adjusted the rocker arms to spec.,they were all to tight n finally it would bust off with ether but soon as thats taken away it quits running. Its pulling no codes and getting fuel to the rail n all,im hoping there is some small or trick thing one of you guys may know to help make this thing run, I have already spent 12k on it and wont ever run rough for me?

Dude, you've been screwed. The first shop clearly had no idea what they were doing. If valves were that far out and you cranked on it, valves could be bent. Other possibility is injector delivery tubes in cyl head aren't torqued to spec. You say rail is getting fuel, but what pressure? My shop did full factory spec rebuilds with new genuine Cummins rebuilt injectors, new clutch, etc for $10K. Are you getting any smoke when cranking?

I will text or call tomorrow PM. Also, when you crank, does it seem to have compression or cranks really fast? Were injectors replaced at all, they most likely caused burn down. Was turbo replaced?

Either on a new motor PRICELESS! If you have fuel to the CP3 and nothing coming out to the injectors>>> Loosened line would tell for sure. Either your PRV is bad or cross over tubes AND injectors not installed properly. Does it fire and then shut of in like 3 seconds? <<< Key fob>>>
Check the Push rods Bent?? But if it fires with either than the cycle is good.
CP3 nut was tightened right!?
