working on a 2005 model. cranks fine cold, heavy white smoke at idle..zero knock. Rev it a little and you get a pretty heavy knock. Pulled the head...found number 6 to be "wet" versus the other 5. Any ideas? thanks for any help in advance!

Pulled the head for nothing but hey great experience! Replace your injectors! #6 is bad do them all! Call Todd at T&C diesel! Google him tell him Andy CA sent you!

Default Thanks for the info

Yea, it wasn't that bad pulling the head. I usually service duramax's and PSD's. Took this venture to learn a little about the cummins. Thank you so much for the info

Hmm Knock with no power is hard I'd start with the valve train check your rockers! Worst case you lost a connecting rod bearing! Caused by a bad injector!
