Default What yall think about biodiesel?

I have been considering trying biodiesel. Can I flip back and forth between #2 and bio? And thing need to be changed if I try it. Can you still get power upgrades on biodiesel from the bullydog? I found some places near me that has the bio and just thought about trying it. Any suggestions???

Giver a whirl. Won't hurt nothing. You can run it straight, mix it with dino diesel, etc... however you want to do it. No changes to anything.

I suggest you try 20 percent biodiesel (or B20) first and see how it works.

Or mix B20 yourself, pump 16 gallons of petroldiesel and pump 4 gallons of biodiesel to make B20. If your truck likes it, then try B30 or 30% biodiesel.

My truck doesn't like anything more than B50.

Your lucky, mine didn't even like the B20. Made the truck run like crap.

There lots of reports of issues with common rail fuel systems having issues , the high pressure causes these .
Here's a link to the last story I saw . Biodiesel Magazine

it would seem that the only issue of oil dilution occures in diesels having "post injection" 07 and later i'm guessing....
