Default 03 5.9 complete rebuild do's and donts....

so my 2003 2500 5.9 HO decided to launch number 6 rod. That being said I'm going to rebuild another long block. I have decided to pick up a 2005 long block. I'm going to be purchasing a complete rebuild kit, Any recommendations on who has the best prices and parts? I'm wanting to install a cam arp rod bolts arp head stud kit and o-ring the head. As well as send my injectors out and have the 100 hp tips installed and flow checked ( who should I use ) I will be using the 05 short block with 03-04 pistons to match the 03 injectors being used. From my understanding all the motors produced from 04.5 on have different voltage for the injectors and the so I was going to use my 03 head all 03 electronics and computer so I don't have any problems. I have a smarty jr tuner a banks air horn a boost fooler and 4-5 in exhaust. main questions as follows

1) who has the best parts at fair prices
2) who to send the injectors to
3) any issues with using the 05 shortblock on 03 stuff
4) any other mods that should be done while apart

First off welcome to db.
second, for your parts, you can post a price request on here for the stuff you need and see what the vendors have for prices.
As for the injectors, dynomite diesel is one of the best, big bang injection from source automotive in clacamas ore. is another good one.But it's up to you.

If you picked up a good long block just use it! Sane your money a rebuild will cost you 3k+ Your injectors will probably be toast so buy a new set! o-ring the head why? planning on doing over 800 hp? I'm running 700hp with a head gasket and studs and that's it!

I-ring was a thought but no we're not going to do it cause I'm not looking to make over the 700 mark but the long block needs to be freshened up and I want all fresh motor. I'm budgeting 3500 with getting my injectors gone through with 100 hp tips. The 03-04 pistons are better so that's what's going in. So far 1200 in a rebuild kit and 800 in machine work and 500 on head studs 500 for the long block leaves 5-600 for injector tips trying to put togethor a little more for a cam.
