start sounds different. no shutter on shut down .
I had a loss of power. Start up took two or more turnovers more than usual. Shut down always had a hard shutter up until the loss of power.
Replaced the injectors myself with 60 horse power bocsh.
Now running a little rough and at cruiseing speed 60 mph just steady throttle pressure not excelerating or decelerating it really shutters hard and only stops if I throttle up or down.
Please help.

How many miles on your rig? What is your fuel pressure? Fuel Filter change? Have you pressure washed your engine lately? Any codes? Start simple first. check all electrical connections, clean your battery terminals, locate and clean all ground connections in the engine bay. There are several. Injectors, injector tubes, and lines torqued to factory spec?

I replaced all of the injectors with new bosch injectors (the whole injector)
Just runing a cheep super chip no big deal.
Today I turned the chip down to the tow hall setting .
It hasn't shuttered or shakin again ..yet
Still feels like I have apower loss
Also
I pulled the oil fill cap off while the truck was running.
Seemed like a lot of blow back. It made a sound like presure release of..

I wish I could help see if there is someone close that is into and capable of doing the r/r
If your mechanically inclined you can pull the motor and take it to a machine shop that does diesels It will be cheaper if you do the work. You can also find a take out motor that's good and just swap it. Cost will be about 4 or 5 k for the rebuild and a take out motor will be around 6k or less if your lucky! Any questions ask!
