Default 07 5.9 exhaust question

I have a stock 5.9 and I was thinking about doing a 5in turbo back exhaust, intake and smarty tuner. I've heard some horror stories about what problems putting a new exhaust on it will bring about. What can I do to avoid those? Problems were cel, tranny going nuts and messed up shift points, and the ecm frying. Since I'm removing the cat(no emission testing here) I have to do something with the sensors? Sorry for the weird question, I just don't wanna mess up the truck.

You won't have any issues with just doing an exhaust.

Do you think it will void a warranty? Any idea how to find out if it would void it?
