hi im new to the dodge cummins i just bought a 2006 dodge ram cummins 5.9 after a couple week i notice started to make lil pulls taking off from stop. or laggin also when the truck is in park accelerate to 3500 arpms than let it off would make this bad lope sound like if it wanted to die out ....i took to the dealer ship and dealer check it and said needed ecm computer and map sensor i have replace both and still havent fix the problem i need help

 

Stock auto? 3500 RPMS at no load will bounce around a bit till the rail drains But it goes back to normal under 10 20 seconds right? Dealer ripped you off!

 

@dangerous1965 also when im driving the truck ! if i try to take of quick from stop the truck will start bounce, or pull or lag like if dint not have no power it will rev up high and int wont move its like if you had put it in neutral too rev it up.... but like you said if i let go of the gas the truck go back to normal armps than it would start driving kind of normal...im not famaliar with cummins but any good advice will be grate thanks
