Hello and help

I have a 5.9 Cummins that keeps dying on me. I suspected bad fuel filter so changed it - test drove and still same problem. I live in Idaho, but am stuck with this problem in Iowa. Any recommendations?

You can check for codes by turning key on and off 3 times.
After truck stops running, if you let it set for a few min will it
start up again ?
