I have a 2005 Dodge 2500 w/5.9 HO. Last week I was driving and it was running fine. The check engine light came on and it fell flat on its face. I limped it to my garage guy. He put it on the computer and it came up hi/lo fuel pressure. He thought it was a injector, but couldn't narrow it down. He played with it for three days. I got it back two days ago and it ran fine again. There was nothing he did to it. This morning the light came back on this morning same problem. He shocked the injectors to clear the code. Any ideas would be appreciated. I have 294,000 on it.

 

Got any gauges? have a lift pump? Are they the original injectors?

 

Gauges are fine. They are the original injectors. Fuel pressure is fine.

 

replace the injectors!
