PATC torque converter?

PATC torque converter?
I am in the market for a torque converter. The 48re already has a shift kit, with some billet pieces (accumulator piston, band strut, band anchor, intermediate servo). I'm looking at single clutch torque's only, and i've heard good things about PATC 's single with billet piston&stator, but i know there are so many choices out there (suncoast, ats, goerend, etc) i'm just not sure which one i should pull the trigger on! any input or personal experience would be great!

been towing 12k with single billet/lo stall and stock input and many internals like you have for many years@ no problem. I agree with you about the hard lock-up of the tripple.
even with a mystery switch lock-up for torque converter and at times been abusive
BUT A BILLET INPUT WOULD BE PEACE OF MIND FOR SHURE.
I would advise the billet shaft if you have the funds,I didn`t and wish I had done so but like you I had a budget
