I got more issues. .need help..changed batteries,alternator,serpine belt...fuel filter...truck starts now but yesterday started it drove for awhile then shut it off 2 mins later started it then it died..tryed starting it again no start..i cranked it about 15 times no fire let sit for about 10 mins and fired...now when it sits at idle the spedometer goes to 20 but i not on gas..i hit gas then it drops back to 0...got codes read getting P0243,P1652,P2509...its been starting ok today....anybody

 

Check and clean your grounds!

as far as the high rev always keep in mind some of the newer and even some older have a factory high idle function it may be yours kicking in really high could be a bad sensor or something but defiantly clean ur grounds and battery leads
