Talking Going To Track, Would Like Advice...

I am going to the track on Sat the 26th in Sacramento. This will be my first time this year and only third overall with my truck. Last time was with SMARTY version 4.09 on 5 and Quad Pressure only tune on lvl2 and managed to squeeze out a 15.6 with no boosted launches and turning the quad on at half track. ( too keep EGT's under 1400*)

Since then I have upgraded to what's in my sig, and truck has a valve body and is recieveing a TC/BI this week. So I feel that boosted launches are ok now.

I will be doing several tests at while I am there, I am going to try and compare the current 4.11 program (wild TM) and 4.2 that I have.

Providing I can drive like a normal person what kind of numbers might I expect with these programs and boosted launches????

Should I even worry about EGT's??? Last time I had the Commander set to de-fuel @ 1400*, now I dont have the Quad at all or the pressure tune, just the SMARTY, should I be concered with EGT's??? Obviously if it hit's 1600*+ then I might have to really worry, but up till that point should I worry???

Any helpful advice/tips and pointers are always welcome!!!!

BTW, when I dynoed in Jan with the Quad/SMARTY stack I netted 426/828 with no upgrades at all, and dynoed 2weeks ago with VB/AD, and 4.2 and netted 439/892.

egts probably will reach 1600*+ but they wont really be a problem on a quater mile. the thing is just don't keep it at 1600 for longer than 30 secs unless you want to fry something.

U should be good for boosted launches and if your having traction problems just lower the psi on your tires. you should have no problem hitting 14's

Bye-Bye Input Shaft!

I would be more worried about the Tranny with the wild TQ Managment... Probably wont last to long. Bob Says that is for highly modded trannys...
