Anyone else live here? Do you plug your truck in? How long? It's supposed to be -12f here yikes!!!

South of Hamilton . I would all night long , can't hurt and you have a warm truck in the mourning!

How much power does the heater use in an hour? Any idea

If I plugged mine in every night from 6 till 6 $30.00 a month or about a dollar a day.

Oh that's not bad at all. Much cheaper then letting your truck run for twenty minutes to warm up

well i can say after plugging it in for an hour and running it for 20 minutes the temp gauge was only an 1/8 inch off the left side. It still was blowing cold air. -2f is terrible.

Ok so I plugged it in for two hours at work and it was up to normal running temp and still would not blow hot air. The heater just worked yesterday

if you have the option to plug it in when its that cold out do it, i just moved and its street parking (Hershey, PA) were getting some negatives here now too and my truck is also wishing it could be plugged in
