Normal Cold Start??

Normal Cold Start??
I got a video of starting my truck. This is the first time it started this quick (1 maybe 1 1/2 revs). Shakes like a trucker. Still trying to pinpoint why it starts right off the bat as shown here, and why it turns over 6-10 revs before fire. Dealer is going to charge to pinpoint and maybe one or more of ya can help. Oh yeah, it sat all night and half the next day, unplugged. TIA

Sounds like my 06, it starts better cold then it does in the summer time when the engine is warm. But I have found out if I wait a bit longer when warm it will start almost as good as a cold engine. The only thing I can think of it some times it takes the ECU longer to get the timing set up for it to start.

The varying in start time could be caused by location of top dead center of the number 1 cylinder when compared to the engine position sensors, such as the crankshaft position and camshaft position sensors. The computer must find the number 1 cylinder before it starts.

position may cause a the ECU to take longer to set timing

I don't know if it is correct or not, but the tech manual on the ISB through Cummins website says that the ECU won't let the engine start until it has reached at least 30 pounds of oil pressure. Don't quote me on it, I just happened to see it as I was skimming through an online manual. This might explain why it would start faster in cold weather, my 06 does the same thing. Last time it was below 15 degrees here it seemed to start before I could get the key all the way to the full starter engagement!
