Question Knock with black smoke

Ok i have a 06 3500 5.9 cummins 160k miles. i have just replaced the crank sensor and replaced fuel filter and oil change. Im having issues just returned from korea to find my truck not running the same my brother was driving it when the fan housing bearing took a crap and shredded the belt in turn tore up the crank sensor. I am now having a knock or tick in the #1 Piston also with the tick i feel the vibration in the fuel line in sync with the tick also blowing black smoke when driving normal and a vibration between 1600 to about 2200 rpm and then will run a little smoother but at idle its smooth as well but you hear the tick and seems to be missing as well not sure what is going on No programmer just a K&N cold air in take and after market intake manifold it was running great before i left ............... PLEASE NEED SOME HELP!

Sounds to me like an injector may be laying down.

You may have an injector that is not supplying the correct amount of fuel to the cylinder resulting in an improper burn. This isn't a guarantee. But it should be a good place to start looking. You need to find a shop that can do a kill test. That should tell you.

I second the bad injector! They all are probably worn out! Get a new set and don't forget the 2 micron filter pre CP3!

STOP driving it. A bad injector can really do damage. Is there fuel in the oil?
