I have a 1996 dodge 12v cummins, I am looking to upgrade to a newer one in the $20,000 range I found this one http://eugene.craigslist.org/cto/4182175399.html is 04 a good or bad year?

 

Depends03 04 old style had issues not many tuners for them either. 04.5 better! For
20k get an 06 07 best years!

 

I cant find a 06-07 for less than 27-30 grand, its the 04 1/2 HO cummins. at this point I am buying it, Test drove it yesterday and love it! its got banks power pack thing in it its a old palm device guess to update to a new one will set me back $500 but I can run with what it has for now not looking to juice it up I need a truck to last me many years. Thanks for the info.

Thanks this truck is awesome I could not be more happy with a pickup. I don't think I will ever be able to down grade ha ha!
