Ok been researching on here and my truck showed all the signs of lift pump going out. Not a problem so I changed it. Now the truck starts good but when I stomp on the throttle it stalls and sometimes dies. Let it set and it starts back seems fine then when accelerating it goes back to stalling. New pump shows that I have a full tank of fuel now. Chance I just got a bad pump?

I am new to this but did just learned one good lesson. My lift pump went bad when I had debris in the tank. Lift pump got clogged - ran for a while but when you hit the pedal (need more lift and pressure) truck ran bad.

Installed new lift pump and cleaned the tank - so far so GOOD

You might of received a defective lift pump. Check lift pressure if you can
