Default 5.9 cummins quit running while driving

I need HELP - Just had a good (used) fuel tank installed by dealer because of a defective tank. Before the tank change truck ran fine. Three days later I put in 20 gallons of fuel and was going on a 400 mile trip. Lucky for me I was just passing the dealer where I bought the truck (2006 Ram 3500) All of a sudden running about 60 MPH and around 1700 RPM on cruise the engine shut down with no warning. NO check engine light on. cranked over for few times and seemed it was starving for fuel, finally started up - I turned around back to the dealer hoping I could make it there.

So now - they changed fuel filter - very dirty. Has not been change for a while. OK now I thought - tech in shop road tested truck and said the same thing happened to him.

In shop NOW for all kinds of test being done. Not sure if is a fuel problem, electric issue, injector or what. They made sure the new fuel tank was cleaned when installed.

Could a FUEL line be pinched - DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO NOW

At least they gave me a loaner vehicle - nice of them to that

Please someone let me know - just joined here so newbie here

Yea I hope they can find the problem - I need my truck back. I notice on your site you have all kind of upgrades. My truck as per I see is stock. What should I do first to upgrade some things? Cold air intake could be one of them I guess - what would you do?? Any advise would be a big help.

I use to have a 7.3 Ford with a K&N air filter, worked out nice - washable. I went to Cummins because a lot of friends have one. Just don't know much about the engine. Trying to find a good guy here in my area (Southern Maryland) to work on my truck - not sure if the guy at the Dodge place does anything off the books but I could ask I guess

One more thing - Do you like the Smarty programmer?? I saw one on line - would consider that
