I am wondering what everyone recommends for a chip pretuned for the 5.9? For example I am more familiar with Fords and know that a great chip for the 7.3 is the TS 6 position pretuned chip. What would compare in the Dodge world?

I know there is the Smarty programmers out there that seem to be favorite, but what about a chip where I don't have to program it and it also takes care of the tranny?

 

There is no such thing as a "chip" for these trucks, never has been. You have the choice of a downloader\prorammer or a power box of some flavor. The only thing that comes close is an Edge EZ for pressure only and you don't want that.

Smarty or EFI Live depending on the year of your truck, anything else needs considerable care and feeding.
