I recently developed an airbox noise about 2000 RPMs and up ' The truck is completely stock ' I've recently replaced Idler pulley, tensioner pulley,intercooler, Check the turbo completely went over all the hoses , Check the exhaust manifold bolts ' This is driving me crazy !!

 

You check the ones from the turbo to manifold ?

 

Yes ' I just Recently pull the turbo off the truck ' I did find excessive play in the turbo once I had it on the counter ' Now I have to wait after the three-day weekend to get it repaired but I do believe I found the problem ! Thanks so much I'll let you know what it sounds like after the Turbo is rebuilt .
